DAY 5 - TORUŃ
Prima colazione in hotel. In mattinata viaggio in treno da Varsavia a Torun e successivamente subito dopo l’arrivo visita al centro storico di Torun dove si possono ammirare il Museo Circondariale di ToruÅ„ e anche il monumento di Nicolaus Copernicus. Pranzo in un ristorante tipico. Pomeriggio dedicato alla visita del Planetarium. W. Dziewulskiego e alla Cattedrale di Torun.In serata ritorno in hotel per la cena e il pernottamento. (Gli spostamenti avverranno per mezzo di un bus.)
MUZEUM OKRĘGOWE
The Toruń District Museum is one of the largest and oldest museums in Poland. It began in 1594 as the simple wunderkammer in the gimnazjum library, called Musaeum in Latin. It was re-established as a city museum in 1920 , it was structured as a district museum in 1965.
CATTEDRALE DI TORUN
The Cathedral Basilica of St John the Baptist and St John the Evangelist is the main place of worship of the city of toruń, in Poland, the episcopal seat of the diocese of the same name.
PLANETARIUM. W. DZIEWULSKIEGO
Large planetarium with performances on constellations, planets and galaxies, as well as interactive exhibitions.
NICOLAUS COPERNICUS
MONUMENT
The statue made of bronze was unveiled in 1853. It presents Nicolaus Copernicus in an academic robe holding an astrolabe in his left hand and pointing at the sky with his right.
